Would like to start trading futures. What is a good broker to get started with? I heard Interactive is good, but they want $10 grand initial deposit. I would like to start with something like $5 grand.

TIA

Thinkorswim
You can give their trading platform a spin by signing up for a paper account (no time or use limit). Best software out there IMO. Minimum deposit is $3500 for non IRA accounts.

If you don't want to invest a big chunk right away a binary options trading platform like hedgestreet. com could be an option.

It works sort of like Intrade.

Two good suggestions. Thank you.

I like that Thinkorswim is compatible with a mac. And they have a reasonable minimum.

Just FYI - I am seeing people all over crying they cannot access options trading today at TD, schwab, zecco, etc. TOS is working great!

i'd say advantage futures, tradestation, rcg are the best for under $50k deposits.
